The event took place at the INEA premises in Brussels and gathered 20 participants. Both the Chinese and European partners and coordinators attended the meeting. Particular care was brought by the EC Project Officers David Guedj and Daniele Violato to go beyond the formal project kick-off in order to:

Share common vision of the ECO-COMPASS challenges and their relevance vis-a-vis industrial innovation prospects.

Consolidate the first interactions initiated during the proposal elaboration and reinforce interfaces between the Chinese and European partners.

Ensure proper understanding of management and communication processes.

The next important event for the entire consortium will be the China-EU Conference on Green Aviation Research that will be held in the calendar week 45 in Shanghai, China.
